Lady Muck's musings
Lady Muck finds herself a new spritzer...
Before Christmas, I mentioned how Charles Worthington would once again be tending to the tresses of the rich and famous at this year’s BAFTAs, but what I failed to mention is that for the 10th year running, Lancôme are the official beauty sponsors. Shame on me.
And to celebrate a decade of transforming Britain’s top talent into red carpet beauty queens (an award winning achievement in itself), Lancôme are holding an exclusive BAFTA afternoon tea at luvvies’ favourite, The Dorchester, on the eve of the big event (Jan 21st for those who haven’t earmarked it in the diary). As well as providing backstage make-up, the idea is that while you nibble finger sandwiches and snack on scones, you’ll be treated to a procession of models strolling through the Promenade in exclusive Escada evening wear.
Think of it as a warm-up act for the awards but this time round, you’ve managed to snare the best ringside seats, rather than some namby-pamby performer. With two sittings at 2.15pm and 4.45, guests will also be given a copy of the BAFTA nomination announcement, as well as a goody bag containing the must-have mascara – Lancôme Hypnôse, and trust me, it’s worth it just for that. Fancy it? Tickets cost £48, but you’ll have to be quick, it’s expected to be a sell-out.

Hi, do you remember what the quad palette looked like? Does it look similar to the palette above?
