This season, our Oscars offenders are mostly condemned for their decision to eschew understated fairytale elegance. The brazen tackiness of sequins and cheap satin fabrics shone out all the more brashly in comparison with the dreamlike couture with whom they dared to share the red carpet.

I love Laura Louie's dress! There's nothing wrong with the dress itself, it just doesn't fit the red carpet, but it's a gorgeous summer dress! <3

I don't really see anything wrong with Kathryn Bigelow's dress, I think it's nice. I don't like when the critiques on the dress doesn't actually explain why it is on the worst dressed list.
